    Middletown’s Neighborhood Watch program, now operated by Middletown Division of Police, will hold its quarterly meetings in 2017 at Central Connections, at 3907 Central Ave. At the first meeting of 2017, on Thursday, March 16, at 7:00 PM, the new Neighborhood Watch facilitator, Identification Detective Vince Lovejoy, will introduce himself and review information about safety and crime in Middletown neighborhoods. A police officer for 32 years, Detective Lovejoy started his career at Lemon Township Police Department before coming to the Middletown Division of Police in October 1994. He has served as a patrolman, Field Training Officer, K9 Officer, and Lead Evidence Technician. As ID Detective, he works cases and processes major crime scenes. He has lived in the Middletown area all his life. All Middletown residents are welcome to attend the meetings and to bring questions and concerns. Dates of the other 2017 meetings, all to be held on Thursdays at 7:00 PM, at Central Connections, are: June 15, Sept. 21, and Nov. 16.
