  • Chamber Of Commerce Announces Changes To Board Leadership

    The Chamber of Commerce serving Middletown, Monroe and Trenton announced last week a change in Board leadership. Tammy Laine, Vice President of Market Development, Atrium Medical Center, was named chair of the board for 2017. Rick Fishbaugh, Fishbaugh Homes, is now the immediate past chair and will continue to serve on both the Executive Committee and Chamber Board.

    The Chamber also announces the addition of four new members to the board of directors: Cathy Bishop-Clark, Interim Associate Provost and Dean, Miami University Regionals; Scott Palmer, Executive Director of Adult Workforce Education, Butler Tech; Dale Rupp, General Manager, AK Steel Middletown Works; and Mimi Summers, Director, Cincinnati State Middletown.

    Those who will remain on the board include Rod Crane, Crane Consumables; Rick Fishbaugh, Fishbaugh Homes; Craig Hladik, Quaker Chemical; Dick Lange, Joe Morgan Honda; Tal Moon, Moon & Adrion Insurance Agency; Larry Mulligan, First Financial Bank; Paul Nenni, Nenni & Company, CPA’s; Rick Pearce, The Chamber of Commerce; Charlotte Pendergrass, ReMax/Alpha; Jackie Ponder, MillerCoors; and Tom Scott, McGraw/Kokosing.

    “I learned a great deal from Rick in 2016. He played a major part in establishing our Four Focus Areas and moving them forward. I also look forward to working with Tammy and the new board members this year to further advance our Focus Areas,” said Rick Pearce, Chamber President/CEO.

    “Rick Fishbaugh has played an integral role in leading the board throughout 2016. The Chamber made great strides in each of its Four Focus Areas and positioned itself to be even more successful in 2017.
