Dr. Tony Williams, a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Bill of Rights Institute and author of Hurricane of Independence, The Pox and the Covenant, America’s Beginnings, and The Jamestown Experiment, will focus on the indispensable alliance of George Washington and Alexander Hamilton and how it forged the American nation. Hamilton was the key adviser to General Washington in the Revolutionary War. They worked together at the Constitutional Convention and the ratification debate to build a constitutional republic and more perfect union. Finally, Hamilton served as President Washington’s secretary of the treasury as the two collaborated in creating the domestic and foreign policy of the new American nation.
