The Fall ‘19 season kicks off at 7 pm Saturday, September 28, 2019, with a double bill of bluegrass music featuring Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers and Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper in Dave Finkelman Auditorium on the Middletown campus. Mullins is an on-air radio personality and a classic character who currently serves as president of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA). Mullins (banjo) is backed by a stellar band of musicians and vocalists. Cleveland is renowned for his exceptional skill as a bluegrass fiddler with an energetic style. He made his first performance at the Grand Ole Opry in 1993 as a guest of Alison Krauss. These two bands are different yet perfectly complement each other on stage.
