    • Healthcare Month – consecutive Friday’s in November
      • 256 students attended from 8 school systems (Bishop Fenwick, CinDay Academy, Edgewood, Madison, Middletown, Middletown Christian, MiddState, Monroe)
      • Facilities that participated:

      • Kettering Health Network

    • Industry Day – to gain a better understanding of industrial careers in the area
      • 12 educators toured AK Steel
      • 5 CEU’s through Ohio Tech Prep
    • Pathways to Professions – created to better introduce area students to local manufacturing career opportunities (Towne Mall Galleria)
      • 20 businesses participated
      • 300+ students attended
    • Jobs in Demand – disseminated document to area educators and businesses (information is specific to Butler and Warren Counties)
    • Southwest Ohio Workforce Summit – created with Butler County Chamber Coalition
      • 59 business leaders from 49 companies participated

    • Business Banners – placed in schools

    2. Closing the knowledge gap between business and education

    • State of Higher Education – hosted with Butler Tech, Cincinnati State-Middletown and Miami Regionals
    • K-12 Education Summit – hosted with Edgewood, Madison, Middletown and Monroe
    • MSSC – Manufacturing Skills Standards Council
      • Adopted by members at the basic skills for all entry level employees
        • Certified Production Technician
        • Certified Logistics Technician
    • Junior Achievement – partnership with presenting curriculum in classrooms
    • Career Experience – helping place Middletown high students with business to gain real world experience
    • Future Fair – created with Butler County Chamber Coalition and Butler Tech
    • College & Career Day – 15 businesses and 525 students participated at Middletown High School
      • Job Applications/Interviewing - workshops
    • Real World Real Money – real world simulation at Middletown High School
    • Lunch & Learn – member companies speak with Middletown High students about their careers
